Content Quality and Accessibility Standards
To ensure the highest quality and educational value, we encourage authors to engage in a robust peer review and editing process. Authors can request that any number of colleagues and subject matter experts be added to the book as reviewers to review and provide constructive feedback on their work prior to publication. While the Libraries are not subject matter experts in the content area, our role is to provide guidance on formatting, accessibility, and overall usability of the material. Feedback is generally limited to copyright clearances, accessibility reviews, and attribution checks unless an author specifically requests our assistance with other items such as formatting text, headings, tables, H5P exercises, etc. We do not and will not offer text review or editing services but will be happy to work with authors to find reviewers and editors if needed. All expenses related to any editing or review is at the discretion of the author.
