Authors must ensure that their work is original or appropriately cites and licenses third-party content. If assistance is needed with understanding how to revise or remix previously published content that has a Creative Commons License, the OpenEd team has multiple Creative Commons Certified librarians who are happy to help.

Authors retain copyright under their chosen Creative Commons license that specifies how others may use, share, and/or adapt the content within the boundaries of that license.
