This open educational resource is a freely available, open-sourced professional writing textbook developed under a grant sponsored by. This text focuses on writing in the professions with an emphasis on rhetoric, audience analysis, writing for specific situations and needs, document design, visual design and research from a professional perspective. When ancillary resources are available, they will be made available here as well.

Acknowledgements

This work grew out of a desire to provide our students with an affordable alternative to the traditional textbooks often utilized in technical and professional courses. The opportunity to create an open educational resource has provided the means to achieve that result.

This project would not have made it this far without the generous support, collaboration, and peer review of many colleagues and students in the Department of English and Languages at Tarleton State University.
