Cornette Library at West Texas A&M University

Pressbooks@WT

The Cornette Library at West Texas A&M University (WT) is committed to actively supporting WT faculty in the creation of Open Educational Resources (OER). Our librarians assist with every stage of the creation process—from identifying gaps in available materials to helping faculty design, write, and compile original content tailored to their courses. The library provides guidance on best practices for structuring OER, selecting appropriate open licenses, and ensuring accessibility and usability for students. In addition, the library has purchased expanded access to Pressbooks, ensuring that faculty have access to the platform if they need it to meet their students’ needs.

If you are WT faculty and would like access to Pressbooks, please fill out this form. If you would like to view content that other WT faculty have created for Pressbooks, please click on the button below.

You can also look at OER created by different WT faculty that might not be on Pressbooks, and even recognize someone at WT who is using OER. Click on the button below to learn more about OER@WT.
