Reading Questions
- Reading questions generally will precede the primary text. Very long works (Aurora Leigh, Maud, The Ring and the Book, etc.) may have reading questions interspersed inside the text.
- These questions guide close reading and support both discussion and written analysis.
- Sometimes a reading question will be part of a Hypothesis exercise.

Annotations
This anthology is designed to be read and annotated.

The anthology is available as online text, as a printable PDF, and as an EPUB book for Adobe Digital Editions, Apple Books, and/or Kindle. You may use whichever format works best for your reading and study. Each format has advantages and limitations, and you may wish to experiment before settling on one.
Is there anything in the online version that doesn’t appear in the print version?
Yes. The anthology contains embedded links and videos that are only available in the online format.
Will I be required to use a particular format for class?

I want a printed version. How can I get one?
You may print the anthology as a PDF if you prefer to work with a physical copy.

For ease of use: print the text in full and have it spiral bound rather than working with loose pages. University bookstores and local print shops (like OfficeMax, Office Depot, Staples, FedEx stores, etc.) often offer spiral or coil binding for nominal fees.
